In order to implement the intelligent, sustainable and inclusive resource efficiency schedule of the “Europe 2020” strategy, it is essential to move towards a more circular economy. The European Institute of Innovation and Technology – EIT RawMaterials, supported by the European Commission, supports this initiative.
The Bay Zoltán Research Institute takes an active part in the professional work, knowledge and innovation community of EIT KIC RawMaterials, and the strategy of the Research Institute is also in line with the objectives of the community.
Bay Zoltán Research Institute participates in the ORCERIS project as a consortium member.
The main goal of the project is to raise awareness of the circular economy in various CLCs through the organization of 4 large-scale workshops. The expected result of the events is to assess the status of raw materials topics and increase their awareness. Furthermore, the project is aimed at the promotion of new technologies and their applicability in everyday life.
